This little angel was only ten days new and such a good little girl. She wasn’t very willing to sleep but she just didn’t want to miss out on the party…

I had the pleasure of meeting Mason and his beautiful family. He was such a fun little boy, full of energy. He sure gave me a run for my money but I enjoyed every second of it.

Picnic in the park

This lovely family wanted to capture the thing they love to do together as a family the most;

Have a fun, family picnic in a park and have me capture these precious moments.

I knew mom was going to bring the picnic items, but I never expected a little Parisian princess to show up to the photo shoot.

And boy was she spunky…

Those spots are water splashes…. After all, we just had to run into the lake. :)

Ballerinas

This is Olivia.

She is fourteen years old. She is a ballerina. She has been taking ballet since she was two years old.

That in itself is impressive. But this is just a small portion of who Olivia is.

She is a remarkable human being.

She is part of every school club ranging from student council to anti-bullying club.

But most of all, Olivia is a big sister to Abby;

and a great role model to her little cousin Riley;

You would figure Olivia would want to be a ballerina when she ‘grows up’, but that is just not the case.

She wants to be a special education teacher; she wants to help kids that may not be as fortunate as we are, succeed in life!

Photographing Olivia and the two girls was a pleasure. Meeting teenagers like her is what gives me hope in our world.

Olivia: Thank you for being YOU! You are truly an inspiration for all the girls that look up to you:

Let me introduce you all to my ‘BFF’, little Ms. Nina. We met (again) when she and her family traveled up here 3 years ago for my wedding and we have been BFF’s ever since. Although there may be ‘few’ years difference between us, we do know how to have fun. Our play dates usually consist of Ms. N coming over and playing with my dog, but this day was a bit different. We decided to take a drive and check out what our town has to offer… and boy, were we pleasantly surprised! We checked out every corner of this park and made sure we captured all the fun things we saw. From dogs, to birds, to snakes: we have seen it all!

I am a bit behind on my blogging but I just can’t help it. Time is running away every time I blink my eyes! I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely family right before the holidays. Santa even allowed us to use one of his spare sleighs. Although it was a bit chilly, we still made the best of the situation and got some adorable shots.

Three handsome little men

This meeting has been anticipated for a few months. The mom and I patiently counted down the days until Thanksgiving weekend – that is when I would have the chance to travel to Chicago and capture her three little men as they are. We tracked the weather each and every day only to have it be a typical fall Chicago weather – Cold, Windy and raining all day long! Needless to say, these boys were troopers and braved the cold, rainy weather for some great shots. But we kept the little one inside – too many puddles for him to run off and splash around in!

Can’t wait until it warms up so we can plan another fun shoot with these handsome three little men. Just can’t get enough of them!
